Introductory Course – Aquatic Bodywork with the Jahara® Technique & Feldenkrais® Principles

Why Learn Jahara®?

Jahara® is much more than an aquatic therapy method – it is a complete conceptual and movement-based approach, rooted in body awareness, healthy body mechanics, and the gentle power of water.

What Makes Jahara® Unique

While other aquatic methods focus mainly on floating, mobilization, or touch, Jahara® is built on five philosophical principles that form the foundation of the method. From these principles, all movements emerge, and each movement expresses a profound idea.

These principles create a movement language inspired by concepts such as:

* Lightness in the body and mind.
* The sensation of free fall that allows true release.
* Opposite directions working together in harmony and balance.
* Circular, continuous flow.
* Gentle presence that does not impose but allows.

At the core of the method lies the principle of effortlessness: the work in the water is not based on physical strength, but on listening, precision, and gentleness. In this way, the practitioner becomes “invisible,” and the water itself becomes the true teacher.

A Global Philosophy, an International Community

Jahara® is studied and practiced worldwide – in Israel, across Europe, Latin America, and beyond. Students who begin learning this method join an active international community, with opportunities to continue growing, attending trainings, and deepening their practice both locally and abroad.

My Unique Approach as a Jahara Teacher

I bring with me over 25 years of experience in the water, with a rare integration of the Feldenkrais Method® and Jahara®. Feldenkrais provides the language of inquiry, awareness, and deep understanding of body mechanics, while Jahara® adds the support, expansion, and flowing quality that allow clients to experience profound transformation.

Together with the warmth of the water and the delicacy of touch, this creates a complete therapeutic experience: the body releases, the mind softens, and a sense of lightness and renewal emerges.

you will not only learn a technique – you will learn a way of life.

SUPPORT

Rules, structure in which we grow. Letting go of obsolete
structure to grow.

ADAPTABILITY

True to essence, not  afraid of changing the strategy.

EXPANSION

Expanding the body.
Expanding beyond the body, including the body.

EFFORTLESSNESS

Fire, spirit. Moving the
inside, the body follows effortlessly.

INVISIBILITY

Feeling at home in my body; healthy ego. Roots are invisible
under the earth.
